This commercial really brings to life the fantasy of using Rouge Coco. I love it so much. The setting in the ad is so elegant; The music is good; She was singing and wearing the lipstick; The beauty of Vanessa Paradis was totally transpired. She looks gorgeous and seductive (it's also because of her beautiful top!). I've a Dior Addict lipstick (color: 367 video rose) but I seldom use it. Maybe it's too mature for me to wear lipstick? I don't know. Usually I use a lipgloss from Chanel instead. But after watching this ad, I think I really should go buy one! Back to lipstick times! Let's hear what the creative director Peter Philips says.

I've found the video of Vivienne Westwood Anaglomania Spring/Summer 2010 Fashion Show (on January 20), which I worked as a volunteer. Many celebrities and some chinese super models were there. And I saw Vivienne Westwood's husband, Andreas Kronthaler. That was a really incredible experience!

My recent life

Two more weeks and this semester will be ended! But I still have 3 presentations and 3 assignments to do. Sigh... And after that I have to study hard for the coming exams (there are 5 exams!! kill me please) in May. And that would be too late for me to find a job after the exams, so I should start finding some. Sigh... again... I haven't hanged out with friends for ages and really can't wait for the summer break (kind of miss alcohol).

Recently I've watched a program called 'It's On with Alexa Chung', and I like it a lot! Lots of the celebrities she invited are those I adore like Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Lady Gaga, Vanessa Hudgens, Taylor Momsen, Jesse McCartney and etc. Besides chatting, sometimes the guest were requested to perform too, like Leighton Meester singing 'Somebody To Love'. Nice!!

Another thing is that... CLOGS are back! Thanks to Karl Lagerfeld, they became much more fashionable. They're the next things I want to buy for this spring/summer! But I'm still looking for them.

Okay, I know it's a bit too late to post these spring/summer 2010 ads. But what I want to say is I really like its Alexa's bag. Leather, postman's lock closure, belt and shoulder strap, the top handle, all the details are amazing. They made the bag become so chic and stylish. Its style is what I like exactly. I've been looking for this style of bag since long long time ago.

Making something like a fashion magazine

This is one of the pages I designed for an assignment, a newsletter including many sections, of a course called Desktop Publishing. I finished it by using InDesign and Photoshop. The title was TOP TEN OF SPRING/SUMMER 2010. The layout is very simple and doesn't look very good (okay, I feel a bit embarrassed). But I think I could do better if I had more time. In the page I used a floral picture to be its background, which is one of the essentials of this spring (as I said before).

It was my first time to make something like a magazine. I have to admit that I enjoyed it. And I found that I actually am interested in this aspect. Maybe I would find a job of this kind after graduation. It would be fabulous if my job is related to fashion (which means I wanna work in fashion industry). I hope someday I'll become more professional.

Yesterday I used the YSL Manifesto tote bag (1st time). I felt good. Why? Because it was so convenient that I could just throw all the things I needed into the bag; I love its casualness. And it matches my outfit. I think I'm gonna use it for awhile.
